THE PLAYBOOK METHOD
Knowledge creates confidence. Evidence creates leverage.
Most disputes stall because the facts, dates and evidence are scattered. The Playbook gives you one clear way to work.
01
Understand
Identify the stage you are actually in and the deadline that controls what happens next — before choosing any strategy.
02
Organise
Build one chronology and one evidence file. Separate facts, evidence, gaps and inference so nothing rests on assumption.
03
Act
Decide your next step with a clear head — complain, escalate, claim, defend or settle — using official sources for current rules.
STAGE → ISSUE → EVIDENCE → GAP → DECISION → ACTION
The same six steps run through every guide, tool and lesson in the Playbook.

WHY I CREATED THE PLAYBOOK
It started with a billing question
My own dispute began as a billing question about a car I had on finance. After months of chasing, my details were shared with debt recovery agencies, my credit file was damaged, and the company eventually admitted the arrears came from its own internal error.
Solicitors were unable to assist or quoted expensive fees, so I got organised: one chronology, one evidence file, precise questions to every organisation involved, and a careful review of every response. Pursued that way, the combined claim resolved in a five-figure settlement along with correction of my credit file.
That result is part of my story, not a promise of what you will achieve. Every dispute is different, and this method guarantees no particular outcome. The Playbook exists to turn those lessons into practical educational tools that help consumers become better informed, better organised and more confident.

Get the Free GuideTHE LITIGANT'S PLAYBOOK™ is an independent educational publishing brand operated by Elimu Digital LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (registered office: 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA). Its guides, tools and templates are general educational information only. They are not legal advice, financial advice, regulated claims-management activity, debt counselling, debt adjusting, debt management or representation, and they do not tell you what position to take in your own case. Rules, court fees, guidance and time limits change — always check the latest official source (GOV.UK, legislation.gov.uk, the FCA, the Financial Ombudsman Service, the ICO, HM Courts & Tribunals Service, the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service and the Welsh Government where relevant) before relying on a deadline, form, fee or rule. Each edition covers its own jurisdiction.
