The Story Behind The Litigant's Playbook™
The Litigant's Playbook™ grew out of frustration. Like many people, I found myself in a stressful consumer dispute here in the UK. I wasn't looking for a fight; I just wanted what I had paid for.
Instead, I was met with walls of corporate text, confusing jargon and pressure to simply back down.
When I looked online for clear, practical help, I found two extremes: dense legal textbooks written for lawyers, or advice forums full of conflicting opinions. None of it showed me how to organise my files, build an evidence log or write a clear, concise complaint that an organisation would take seriously.
So I built the system I needed myself.
I learned to keep one timeline, build an evidence register, separate facts from feelings, and check every point against the official rules and guidance. Having a method didn't guarantee a result, but it took the panic out of the process and helped me face each step with a clear head.
That's what this Playbook is for: helping you get organised and feel more confident, whatever your dispute. It's educational information, not legal advice.

What we publish
- Free guides and courses for England & Wales (in English and in Welsh) and for Scotland, each written for its own court system and terminology.
- Editable starter templates that go with each guide.

Our material is general educational information. Rules, fees and time limits change, so always check the official source, and consider professional advice where your matter is complex, high-value or urgent.
